Japanese artist Yuriko Kubota comes by way of Toronto, Canada, bringing to Shanghai a fresh artistic technique to now well aged art form of black & white photography. By working the prints with very precise cuts, she adds an element of energy and depth to the already excellent street style photography - art work with a loose, cool and emotionally expressive style reminiscent of Daido Moriyama or Hibi Yuichi.
Through her experimental process, Ms Kubota has taken the art of photography in a new direction, one we are sure you will agree is inspiring, and upon viewing takes you further into the experience of the artist in her place and mindset at the moment of capture.
