巴巴克·格尔卡

加拿大温哥华

通过绘画、版画、陶瓷、雕塑、装置等各种形式的艺术形式，巴巴克·格尔卡（Babak Golkar）辩证地探讨当今社会形态下的人性。各人种、文化、传统等之间的密集交流与互相影响，使得原本各个独立的传统体系以求同存异的现状存在。

巴巴克·格尔卡作品总是在隐晦地的质询，当人们面临打击、情绪困扰时，会做出何种抗争、妥协？近期的艺术项目源于一个争议性的观点，在历史、文化、政治立场的语境下，从人的关系到形式、阶层和立场，由一个被曲解的结论性的事实观点出发，进而质疑、探讨得出该结论的原因以及意识形态立场。
