Based in Denmark, Per Adolfsen's acrylic on canvas paintings have been shown all over the world. Featured to great success at SH Contemporary Art Fair and Art HK in 2010, ART MIAMI, Art Contemporary LA, and in New York.
While living in Barcelona, Adolfsen realised much of his professional works and his last themed art project ‘Coup de Grâce’ has a sold out exhibition at gallery ‘La Plataforma’ in 2016.
By revitalizing a long Scandinavian tradition of landscape painting, his art is considered by many to be one of the best examples of the new contemporary Nordic art scene. Per Adolfsen is reinventing a true and spirited expression of Nordic painting. His large scale, colourful scenes lead the viewer into mysterious and fairytale like environments.
