Chengdu, China
The artist Xing Xin became famous at home and abroad for his "Black Box" series exhibited at the 2009 Venice Biennale. This time, in the art project "Meditation on Floating Ice", with his attention to the humanities and the environment, he personally intervened and changed the circulation of the Yangtze River water. Xing Xin and his team started driving from Chengdu, passing Danba, Daofu, Yushu, Hoh Xil and other places to the foot of Gradan East Snow Mountain, taking the ice at the source of the Yangtze River, then driving straight to the mouth of the Yangtze River, and melting this ice into the sea.
