ART LABOR Gallery is pleased to invite you to the opening party of a solo exhibition by artist Wang Qing, this Saturday, May 12th, 5 – 9pm. Wang Qing is a Shanghainese artist who spent nearly two decades in Tokyo, Japan, winning numerous awards and achieving a PhD from Tokyo Fine Arts University. This show will include some of his beloved Coming & Going series, and many new styled paintings, dealing with the theme of the inter-generational conflict so commonly found in families in China today.
